Who is Alexandra Kay

Alexandra Kay is definitely not holding back in her pursuit for global domination.

Since signing with Wheelhouse Records in March of 2025, she has release a number of songs, all hitting the country fans hot spot.

This new track “Feminine Energy” is no different.

Its a high energy, slightly rocky tune with good hooks and a melody that sucks you in. I was pleasantly surprised by the song, expecting a man bashing rendition based from the title, but no! It is a well thought out and written song all about how she is exuding her feminine energy around a certain man to attract him.

Alexandra Kay is currently out on tour hitting a couple of gigs in London and then back the Nashville.

The Song

Feminine Energy is a bright, poppy, rocky song about looking and behaving very feminine to attract the attentions of a certain man. Its a average length for a country song, but maybe a little shorter than it could have been.

The beginning of the song makes you believe its going to be a very poppy country song, but trust me, the guitars and bass will kick in and change all of that for you.

Alexandra’s voice fits the song and style well with a balanced range, lots of feeling and clarity so you know what she is singing.

Musically its a catchy tune, it could be a slight ear worm for some, but for me it was enjoyable, just not an ear worm.

The ending to the song is one i personally like. Its not a gradual fade, rather a nice hard stop, it will take you by surprise a little.

All in all a very acceptable country pop song and one i can see getting a decent amount of air play.
